This kilt pin from our Bee Faithful series is a beautiful way to show your faith on your jacket, purse, hat or a baby’s bag or carrier. Natural howlite is snow-white stone with fine grey veining. It is named after its Canadian geologist discoverer, Henry How, during the 19th century. Its early deposits were seen in How’s place at Nova Scotia. Howlite is often called the “White Buffalo Stone.” In recent years, California has become the world’s biggest source of howlite followed by Canada, United States, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. Since howlite is a natural stone, each pin is unique and colors may vary.

Our products are handcrafted using the finest materials available to ensure that your pin will be an heirloom for many years to come. Howlite is a soft stone, so it can easily be scratched. To clean howlite, use lukewarm, slightly soapy water and a soft cloth (cotton is best). Rinse well to remove residue and pat dry. Store howlite wrapped in soft cloth within a separate box or pouch to reduce the likelihood of damage.
